Our Story
2007
Tahlequah Men’s Shelter (TMS) began as a housing service capable of serving only a handful of men experiencing homelessness.
2009
Though the generosity of our community partners TMS was able to expand and increase resident capacity by ten beds.
2020
TMS received our first federal grant to enhance capacity and provide high quality case-management and housing services.
2023
TMS implemented new policies to assisting men experiencing homelessness explore and maintain an alcohol and substance use recovery pathway.
